Diligence

Crazy snow last night silently crept and piled up around us as we were working diligently in the wood shop. A rustic weathered hall tree we made from an old door and aged barn wood. The quarter mile driveway that staggers and winds and then plunges down from the top of the mountain was a perilous drive but well navigated by Fred and his studded tires. Once taxied down to the bottom of the hill we said our goodbyes and each retreated to the cozy warmth and security of his own home. Unfortunately the return trip back up the mountain was not as successful and Fred & Dana found themselves afoot through the wet white drifts ~ coyotes howling nearby. Was it all worth it? Heck yeah! We've got a wonderful hall tree almost completed and ready to go into our "shop". Photos coming soon.

  1. Wow, you sure are a dedicated lot. The moment I would have heard a howl, I would have been gone like a flash.
